It is our intention to organise a one day conference on Saturday 8th September 2012 on the theme of 'Enhancing Learning and Releasing Potential.' We hope to attract presenters from a range of professional backgrounds who work with children and adolescents. A range of topics will be explored such as how modern life is adversely impacting on the life of children and adolescents and what can be done about it, how early movement experiences impact on later learning and behaviour, how the auditory and visual senses can sometimes go wrong and what can be done about it.
It is hoped that the conference will be of interest to professionals working with children and adolescents from a diverse range of fields such as teaching, educational/clinical psychology, literacy teaching and support, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic therapy, speech and language therapy, optometry and sports coaching.
We are at a very early stage in our planning of the conference and it would be helpful to us to get a feel for the potential interest in attending this event. We would really appreciate it if you could let your colleagues and other contacts know about this.
